Little Miss Homo Sapien's Cave

About

  • She is not a bad person, not because it’s wrong to be bad but really, she’s just a loser that way.
  • She is a multi-talented nobody who thrives at the very things that make her cringe, e.g. being herself.
  • She is all about fun, but never funny. The funniest people she knows are the phonies.
  • She believes spoofs and satires are more ingenious than their originals.
  • When she was a kid, she got electrocuted by sticking a fork into the power outlet.
  • Her biggest cheap thrill is getting her hands all dusty in second-hand bookstores and being able to exclaim “Eureka!” upon discovering hard-to-find titles.
  • Some of her dreams include becoming a photojournalist and a gypsy. When she dies she hopes to turn into a constellation.
  • She loves cats and believes she has nine lives, too.
  • She is very proud of her taste in music. Although, of course, good taste is the death of art.
  • Art is her oxygen. Poetry and literature are her ballast. Music is her moon and stars. Peace, Love and Freedom are her heart and soul.
  • She plans to find herself by getting lost. This she intends to fulfill by travelling the world.
  • She currently lives under some rock in the Philippines.

    • Bjork’s Hunter is actually my most favorite music video of all time.

You did a great job at translating the song’s lyrics.

    • Thank you for dropping by.

In fact that experience has made me not a big fan of electric plugs and power sockets up to this day.

    Hello Little Miss,

You were kind enough to introduce yourself to me at my blog, http://suicideman.wordpress.com. Your comments and blog have made a difference for me. I have started a counterpart to Suicide Man at http://phoenixredux.wordpress.com and if I understand blogging you should get a “pingback” from there today.

I hope it comes from there. I fear that with the parent blog having the negative title that may be what shows. But the pingback to you and the post are definitely in the positive version at Phoenix.

Thank you for sharing your life in the beautiful way you express your thoughts. You resonate with me and help give me clarity.

I look forward to seeing your posts.

    Thank you.

    – Phoenix

    • Thank you very much, Phoenix. Your visit here is real heartwarming.

I’ll definitely be a regular visitor of your two blogs.

      You’re quite an enlightenment yourself.

When I was a kid, I got electrocuted by sticking my digitus minimus into the power outlet. ๐Ÿ˜€

Awesome introduction. I live in the Philippines too, by the way.

So, you should know that kicking rocks is a favorite hobby of mine.

Do you live under a huge rock or a small, kickable one? Because if it’s the latter, you really should tell me which rock you live under so that I don’t kick itโ€”not just because you live under it, but also because you love that rock and it rocks. ๐Ÿ˜›

    17/01/2011 at 02:27

    • The rock where I’m from, well, isn’t kickable. It kicks ass, though.

Thank you for the visit and nice words. Hope to hear more comments from you in the future. I have quite a vision for this little new site so I hope you subscribe and spread the word about it.

      17/01/2011 at 19:04

      • Oh, good thing the rock where you’re from isn’t kickable. ๐Ÿ˜€

Your blog is cool (and so are you), so you can expect to see a lot of comments from me in the future.

And I’m subscribing and adding you to my blogroll! Cheers!

    You are always feeling
And simultaneousness-ly perceiving with every skhanda
    Every angle of every aspect
    Of every detail
    of the world
    So painfully Beautiful
